Thanksgiving Getaway...

We had the best time visiting Matt's parents & family in New Mexico for Thanksgiving. I had no idea it could be so beautiful and peaceful there. We just enjoyed the peace and quiet for as long and as much as we could knowing we'd have to eventually come back home to the craziness that is life. Here's some pictures of our fun...

They live in a really gorgeous mountain area, these deer just hang out in their neighbor and in their backyard. We also saw elk, skunks, & even some wild turkey. No we did not capture one for Thanksgiving dinner.

This beautiful lake is only a 15 minute scenic drive away from their house.

With a little help from dad, Madison lost her first top tooth on Thanksgving morning! The toothfairy pays double on holidays, so it was her goal!

At first glance, this looks like snow, but it's sand. We went to White Sands National Park. This is also where they filmed part of Transformers II. This was a really cool place to play for the day. When we got home, we had sand in every crack!

Paka & Mimi even had a Happy Unbirthday party for the girls! So much fun!
