When Madison started Kindergarten, she learned of a very wonderful event that would soon be happening to her... having her first tooth fall out. There is a special book at school that you get to take home and write all about it when it happens to you. When she learned of this event she kept commenting about how much she really wanted her tooth to fall out. She even said that she wouldn't brush her teeth so it would. We noticed it was loose about 2 weeks ago while she was eating carrots. She wasn't happy that her tooth started hurting, but you should have seen her smile when I told her why. Who knew how exciting it would be for both Matt and I as well. We felt like we were 5 again and it was our first tooth falling out. Anyway, it was hanging by a thread for a few days & she didn't want us to pull it out. 2 days after Christmas, I saw that it was missing and she never even knew it was gone. She was pretty heartbroken when we couldn't find it anywhere & we were very lucky when dad stepped on it in the bathroom a few hours later & found it for us. Now she gets to write all about it in tooth book at school. The tooth fairy visited and left her a dollar in her magical tooth fairy box.
Here it is... her first lost tooth

Yeah Madison! She looks much happier about the dollar than the tooth.
